Trinidad Diaz

Trinidad (Rodriguez) Diaz, 96, of Beeville, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at home lovingly surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Diaz was born August 7, 1921, in Pettus to Rogerio and Guadalupe (Pena) Rodriguez. She married Pedro Diaz on September 14, 1940, in Beeville. To this union was born nine children. She was a housewife and of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Diaz was preceded in death by her parents, Rogerio and Guadalupe Rodriguez; her husband of 61 years, Pedro Diaz; two daughters, Martina Vera and Josie Jackson; grandchildren, Megan Nicole Diaz, Eli Franklin and Jake Eldridge; and great-great-grandchildren, Paityn Angel Skau and Andren Jakob Skau.
She is survived by seven children, including her five daughters, Vickie (Bill) Stricklin of Gilbert, Arizona, Gloria (Ray) Rincon and Diana (Bill) Franklin, both of Beeville, Linda Rodriguez of Tuleta and Eloisa (Johnny) Marron of Baytown; and two sons, Robert Diaz of Tuleta and Albert (Belinda) Diaz of Ganado.
She was also blessed with 26 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at Angelus Funeral Home, with a Rosary recited there at 7 o'clock that evening.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
