San Dominguez

San Juanita (Garza) Dominguez, 84, of Beeville, died Monday, March 10, 2014. Mrs. Dominguez was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Yorktown to Petra Espinosa and Jesus Garza. She married Daniel Dominguez in Yorktown on July 14, 1956, and was a homemaker and a member of El Buen Pastor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Garza and Petra Espinosa; her husband, Daniel Dominguez; step-father, Gavino Corpus; and brother, Pedro Garza. Survivors include her children, Juan Daniel (Elisa) Dominguez of George West, Maria (Jose) Aguilar, Roger (Irene) Dominguez and Joe Dominguez, all of Beeville; grandchildren: Kelly Taylor, Kathy Dominguez, Chris Perez, Trisha Perez, Jessica Lichtenberger, Christopher Aguilar, Joe Anthony Aguilar, Roger Philip Dominguez, Anyssa Dominguez and Elizabeth Dominguez; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews from the Garza and Marin families. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held there at 7 o'clock that evening. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at El Buen Pastor Baptist Church with Angel Rangel officiating. Burial will follow in Cemeterio Evangelico. Pallbearers will be Juan Daniel Dominguez, Roger Dominguez, Joe Dominguez, Chris Aguilar, Joe Anthony Aguilar, Roger Philip Dominguez, Abel Garcia and Jose Aguilar. Angelus Funeral Home
