Rose Marie Vasquez, 67, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Rose was born on June 19, 1959, in Ashiya, Japan, to Rosendo Perez and Maria Alicia Perez. Rose lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. She was a devoted catholic and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She worked as a licensed cosmetologist for many years, where she enjoyed helping others look and feel their best while building lasting friendships with her clients.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo Perez and Maria Alicia Perez; her sister, Robin Huelshcamp; her brothers, Rosendo Perez Jr. and Rolando Perez; and her mother-in-law, Elma Vasquez.
Rose is survived by her loving husband, Valdemar Vasquez Jr.; siblings, Richard Perez, Regina Garza, Maria Hernandez, and Roberto Perez; children, Christopher Vasquez (Maria), Valdemar Vasquez III (Alva), and Venessa Padierna (John); grandchildren, Christopher Vasquez Jr., Anthony Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez, Nicholas Galvan (Hailey), Alexandria Galvan, Ariel Garcia, Christopher Valenzuela, Kailey Padierna, Isaiah Padierna, Jeremiah Vasquez, Michaela Curlee, Kendra Vasquez, Luna Vasquez, Ciara Garza; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Vasquez III, Atreus Galvan, Atlas Galvan, Rylan Malandrakis, Jessa Waters, Jersi Waters, and Sandy Lou Vasquez.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a rosary to be recited at 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Father Richard Gutierrez officiating.
Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Vasquez Jr., Anthony Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez, Jeremiah Vasquez, Isaiah Padierna, and Nicholas Galvan.
Honorary pallbearer will be Kailey Padierna.
Though she will be deeply missed, Rose's memory will live on through the love she shared, the family she cherished, and the countless lives she touched.
