Rose Mary Lane

Rose Mary (Martinez) Lane, 67, passed away in her hometown of Beeville, Texas, on April 1, 2025. Born on May 16, 1957, to Juan B. Arzola and Cristella Martinez, Rose Mary was well regarded for her strong faith, which she instilled in her children and grandchildren. A true believer in God, her unwavering devotion was evident in her love and dedication as a mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Arzola; her mother, Cristella Martinez; her beloved grandson, J.D. Javier Lane; and her brother, Joe Martinez.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include her daughter, Romana (Lane) Gallegos and husband Jason; two sons, Samuel Lane and wife Blue; and Gabriel Lane. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2, with Samuel Lane officiating. Teles Gomez provided special selections.

Pallbearers were Sammy Lane, Jason Gallegos, Manuel Suniga Jr., Brian Suniga, Blue Lane, Steven Longoria and Gabriel Lane.
