Rosa Ramirez

Rosa Reyna Ramirez, age 87, passed away on August 1, 2014. She was born December 16, 1926, in Beeville, Texas, to Juan and Luz (Sanchez) Reyna. Rosa married the late Jesus Ramirez in February 6, 1954. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rosa leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Joe Andrade of Sinton (5)(13), Mateo (Lupita) Ramirez (1)(2), David Ramirez (2)(9), and Freddy (Evelia) Cardenas (1) all of Beeville; daughters, Elva (Dan) Hurford of Ohio (2)(5), Mary Lou (Fred) Chapa of Beeville (3)(5), and Rosie Rodriguez of New Braunfels (5)(5); daughter-in-law, Liz Ramirez of Corpus Christi (3)(6); sisters, Manuela Cantu of Victoria and Amalia Reyna of Beeville. She is preceded in death by her mother, Luz Reyna; her father, Juan Reyna; husband, Jesus Ramirez; two sons, Juan Andrade and Jesus Ramirez, Jr.; three brothers, Refugio, Juan and David Reyna; one sister, Luz Cardenas; and one daughter-in-law, Mildred Moreno Andrade. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Angelus Funeral Home with Pastor David Silva officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Richard Villarreal, Jr. Mateo Ramirez, Jr., Juan Andrade, David Reyna Jr., Brent Meyer and Steve Suchill.
