Rogelio Pena, Jr.

Rogelio Pena Jr., 33, of Beeville, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016. Mr. Pena was born Sept. 28, 1982, in Corpus Christi to Beatrice (Medrano) and Rogelio Pena Sr. He married Amanda Carter in Kingsville on May 11, 2002, and was a construction worker and a Christian. He was also a computer whiz and enjoyed reading. Survivors include his wife, Amanda Pena of Beeville; two daughters, Jami Pena and Ami Pena, both of Beeville; his parents, Beatrice and Rogelio Pena Sr. of Skidmore; three sisters, Leticia Pena and Samantha Berruz, both of Tuleta, and Lydia Pena of Skidmore; a brother, Rolando Pena of Skidmore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 16, from noon to 3 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A chapel service will be conducted there at 3 p.m. following visitation with Rev. Jesse Berthold and Rev. Steve Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. Pallbearers will be Anthony Terry, Jesse Medrano, Londo Pena, Gilbert Pena Jr., Eric Pena, Adrian Pena, Sammy Castaneda and Christopher Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be Rolando Pena.
