Pedro Longoria

Pedro Michael Longoria, 30, of Beeville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

Mr. Longoria was born Feb. 27, 1984, in Beeville to Johnny Arzola and Amelia Longoria Martinez. He attended A.C. Jones High School and married Denese Palomo. He was a member of El Buen Pastor Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Rosario Longoria; great-grandparents, Antonio and Francisca Quiroz and Antonio Longoria; step-brother, Juan Anthony Barrientes; and brother-in-law, Richard Cuevas.

Survivors include his wife, Denese Palomo Longoria of Beeville; a son, Ivan Michael Longoria of Beeville; a daughter to be born soon, Adriana Longoria; father, Johnny Arzola of Beeville; mother, Amelia (Felipe Barrientes) Martinez of Beeville; brother, Freddy (Jessica Salinas) Aleman Jr. of Beeville; four sisters, Olivia Longoria, Laura (Gilbert Alvear) Martinez, Kelly Olivas (Jonathan) Rubin and Cristela Cuevas, all of Beeville; grandparents, Juan Arzola of Beeville and Porfirio and Elida Longoria of Skidmore; in-laws, Jennifer (William) Zepeda and Gilbert Palomo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, from noon to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held there at 7 o’clock that evening.

The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Roman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Estrada, Gilbert Palomo, Gilbert Alvear, Freddy Aleman Jr., Felipe Barrientes, Joshua Ryan Aleman, Adam Perez, Daniel Cuevas and Roland Arzola.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ruben Gonzales III and Freddy Aleman III.
