Palmira Doubrava

Palmira (Pam, Pima) Doubrava, 90, passed away peacefully from this earthly world on June 1, 2018, in Beeville, Texas. She was born in Skidmore, Texas on December 2, 1927. She married Thomas Charles Doubrava on June 10, 1961. Pam "Pima" was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Skidmore and spent the majority of her life helping others until her illness. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church and a member of Women of Hope Ministry.

Pam "Pima" was preceded in death by her husband, "Papo" Thomas Charles Doubrava, Sr.; parents, Blas and Maria (Reyes) Falcon; one brother, Blas Falcon; and four sisters, Celia Soliz, Elida Rios, Rose David and Frances Hernandez.

She is survived by her brothers, Joe (Gema) Falcon and Reeys Falcon; her daughters, Anna Marie (Rudy) Salinas, Mary Esther Lara and Evangeline Blanco; son, Thomas Charles Doubrava, Jr.; grandchildren, Toby (Shanna) Salinas, Holly Salinas, Mark (Misty) Lara, Victor (Jennifer) Lara, Pamela (Shawn) Harmon, Jacob (Monica) Blanco, Thomas Charles (Emily) Doubrava, III and Ashley Doubrava (William Ledbetter). Pam was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville with a prayer service held there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Angelus Funeral Home with Rev. Salvador Rincon officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Salinas, Joshua Salinas, Rudy Salinas, Mark Lara, Jacob Blanco and Thomas Charles Doubrava, III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Holly Salinas, Toby Salinas, Elijah Salinas, Horace Garcia, Raul Gonzales, Victor Lara, Christiana Marie Salinas, Rhiana Christine Salinas, Alex Lara, Drake Lara, Mason Lara, Maya Lara, Evan Harmon, Harper Harmon, Aubrey Ledbetter, Bailey Ledbetter, Elowen Doubrava, Dalee Blanco and Javin Blanco.
