Natividad Constante, age 65, of Tuleta, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loved ones.

Nat was born on July 26, 1960, in Beeville, Texas, to Guadalupe Constante Sr. and Ester (Benavidez) Constante. Growing up as one of 10 siblings, Nat made her voice known early on — she was loud, proud and never afraid to speak her mind. She attended and graduated from Pettus High School in 1979. She was very artistic and loved to draw. She enjoyed playing bingo, board games, cards and cooking for her children and grandchildren, always finding joy in bringing her family together.

Natividad was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Constante Sr.; her daughter, Debra Chapa Subjinski; her son-in-law, Richard Subjinski; her brother, Gilbert Constante; and her niece, Selina Constante Clevenger.

Survivors include her loving partner of 28 years, Wilfredo Funez; her daughters, Tanya (Edward) Rivas and Vanessa (Freddie) Barrientez; her mother, Ester Constante; her siblings, Joe (Patricia) Constante, Juan (Margaret) Constante, Guadalupe (Angie) Constante Jr., Beatrice (Carlos) Rey, David (Tracie) Constante, Albert Constante, Janice (Ricky) Delbosque and Adrian (Amanda) Constante; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Julyssa Fregoso, Gabriella Chapa, Trey Subjinski, Esperanza Salazar, Tyler M. Colly, Jr., Edward Rivas, Jr., Amelia Rivas, Bel Barrientez, Aaron Barrientez, Isaiah Barrientez, Jose Barrientez and Noe Barrientez; and great-grandchildren, Bonnie Blue Beard, Daisy Bell Elspeth Beard, Angelica Crawley and Elias Ricardo Kozar.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beeville with a Rosary to be recited at 11 o’clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. with Father Richard Gutierrez officiating.

Burial will follow at the Pettus Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Constante, Jayce Constante, John Richard Constante, Joseph Constante, Gilbert Constante Jr., Aaron Constante, Simon Delgado, Edward Rivas, Leland Kozar and Aaron Barrientez.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Edward Rivas Jr., Michael Constante, Joe Constante Jr. Haiden Martin, Douglas Martin, Alfredo Barrientez, Teofilio Constante and Trey Subjinski.

Natividad will be remembered for her strong spirit, creative heart and the deep love she had for her family, leaving behind a legacy that will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
