Lazaro B. Suniga

Lazaro B. Suniga, 82, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2026.

Lazaro was born on September 9, 1943, in Beeville, Texas, to Soledad Benitez and Pablo Suniga. He was a lifelong resident of Beeville and a devoted member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Lazaro will be remembered for his spirit, kind heart, and the love he had for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Juan Suniga Sr. and Pablo Suniga Jr.; and his sisters, Virginia Suniga and Herminia Santellan.

Survivors include his brother, Enrique Suniga; his sisters, Maria Ambriz and Beatrice Suniga; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other loving relatives.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the chapel of Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville, with a rosary to be recited at 12 o’clock, followed by a funeral service at the same location.

Burial will follow at the San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville.

Pallbearers will be Servando Suniga, Juan Daniel Suniga, Emilio Ramon, Alberto Rodriguez III, Darian Flores, Dorian Flores, Lino Garcia, and Lee Roy Flores.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Suniga, Dustin Flores, Alberto Rodriguez Jr., Ricky Suniga, Jerad Garcia, Ruben Ambriz, Eric Ambriz, Rolando Ambriz, James Garcia, Gregory Bowden, Austin Savage, Gilbert Hernandez (Peewee), Christopher Bowden, Juanito Pantoja, Jose Guajardo, and Donavan Flores.
