Juanita Campos

Juanita (Moreno) Campos, 70, of Beeville, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015. Mrs. Campos was born July 27, 1944, in Beeville, to Flora (Maldonado) and Amado Moreno. She married Epimenio Campos Sr. and was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amado and Flora Moreno; her husband, Epimenio Campos Sr.; a grandson, Arturo Moreno; brothers, Agapito Moreno, Felipe Moreno, Amado Moreno Jr., Gene Vidaurre and Juan Manuel Moreno. Survivors include her sons, Epimenio (Sandra) Campos III and John Michael Campos, both of Beeville, and Alex Campos of New York, New York; daughters, Cruz (Mario) Gutierrez, Janie Campos, Leonora Benavidez, Eva (Roland) Arzola, Emily Hernandez, Lucy Moreno and Martina (Benny) Moreno, all of Beeville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Yolanda (Martin) Flores of Alvarado; a brother, Greg (Beda) Moreno of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, from noon to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trino Ramon, Ricky Campos, Rito Campos, Roland Arzola, Epi CamposIV, Raven Moreno, Christopher Campos, Benny Ray Moreno and Jesse Gutierrez. Angelus Funeral Home
