Jose Velasquez

Jose Antonio Velasquez, 39, of Beeville, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Mr. Velasquez was born May 28, 1978, in Beeville to Paula Villarreal and Benito Velasquez. He enjoyed coloring, music, dancing and playing bingo. He was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include three sisters, Diana Perez and Graciela Velasquez, both of Beeville, and Norma Manzano of Pearland; five brothers, Benito (Sema) Velasquez Jr. of Normanna, Javier Velasquez of Pawnee, and Hector Velasquez Sr., Mario Velasquez and Robert (Melva) Velasquez, all of Beeville.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Angelus Funeral Home chapel with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 o'clock.

The funeral service will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
