Jamie Allison Cox, 27, passed away on January 8, 2026, at Christus Sphon Hospital Beeville, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jaime was born on December 21, 1998, in Beeville, Texas to Mary A. Miller and James E. Cox. She was a radiant light in the lives of those who knew her.
Jamie attended public school in Beeville with a loving sense of humor, she brought joy to everyone around her, and her infectious laughter could brighten the darkest days.
Her passions were many, but Jamie had a special love for music, which served as the soundtrack to her vibrant life. She loved dancing to her favorite tunes, often lost in a world of imagination as she played with balloons, her cherished Dora the Explorer doll, and the Angel doll she had treasured since the age of three. These simple joys were a testament to her youthful spirit.
Jamie also found delight in watching basketball and football on television, sharing these moments with her family. Some of the best memories Jamie and her mother shared was when her mother Mary would sing Christian music to Jamie and often Jamie would try to sing along. They also enjoyed watching TV bible stories together.
Jamie enjoyed frequent car rides, reveling in the sights and sounds around her, and she held a special bond with Francis Watson, who cared for her like a second mother. This relationship exemplified the love and warmth Jamie brought into every connection she made.
Jamie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Teodora Cuellar Munoz and Felipe Perez Munoz
Left to carry on her spirit are her loving mother, Mary A. Miller, and her sister, Mariah K. Miller, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish their time spent with her.
Visitation will be held at Angelus Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, starting from 12 to 1 p.m.
A Rosary will be recited at St. Jospeh Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. with the funeral Mass celebrated at 2 o’clock with Father Richard Gutierrez officiating. Burial will follow at the Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mykel Munoz, Robert Munoz, Javier Martinez, Mark Watson, Adrina Puga, and Miranda Barraza.
