Ignacia Farias

Ignacia (Loya) Farias, 92, of Beeville, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012. Mrs. Farias was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Beeville to Gregoria Rodriguez and Guadalupe Loya. She married Domingo Farias in Beeville on May 26, 1945, and was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Gregoria Loya; her husband, Domingo Farias; two daughters, Linda Maldonado and Adelfa Flores; a son, Joe Henry Farias; a granddaughter, Rosie Farias; a brother, Reynaldo Loya; and a sister, Odulia Longoria. Survivors include nine grandchildren, Eddie, Erica, Jessica and J.R. Maldonado, JJ, James, Jeremy and Angel Flores, and Georgie Arce; 22 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lupe (Julia) Loya, Derlin (Ofelia) Loya and Tony (Elida) Loya, all of Beeville, and Ernest (Janie) Loya of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, from noon to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 17, at 1 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Musical selections will be provided by organists Rosie Maldonado and Fernando Cisneros. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers are Edward Maldonado II, Trevor Longoria, Justin Flores, Roland Ortega, Michael Loya, Tommy Longoria, Bobby Longoria and Ray Guerra II. Angelus Funeral Home
