Humberto Dominguez Ocampo

Humberto Dominguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and devoted servant of Jehovah, passed away, leaving a rich legacy of love, hard work, and enduring faith.

Born in Morelos, Mexico, Humberto was the cherished son of Julia Ocampo and Pedro Dominguez. He is survived by his brothers Pedro, Valente, and Arnulfo, and his sisters Marina, Fabiola, and Raquel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Martin.

For nearly 50 years, Humberto was married to the love of his life, Teresa. His devotion to her was unbound—words cannot fully measure the deep, enduring love and affection he held for her throughout their life together.

Humberto was the devoted father of his oldest child and only daughter, Lina, his son Octavio, and his youngest son, Humberto, all of whom loved and cared for him deeply. He was also the proud grandfather of eight: Prisila (26), Octavio Jr. (25), Ricardo (24), Jaylyn (24), Hugo (22), Katie (19), Jameson (5), and Camilla (3 months).

Though he had a third-grade education, Humberto possessed an extraordinary work ethic and determination, successfully building and running his own landscape construction business for 25 years. Above all, he remained steadfast in his faith, faithfully fulfilling his responsibilities as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Humberto was a natural father figure to many, offering wisdom, generosity, and warmth to those around him. He was loved profoundly by all of his family and friends. Fulfilling his lifelong dream, Mexico will serve as his final resting place.

A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Angelus Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 4:30 p.m. at the same location.

His family takes comfort in the promise found at Revelation 21:3, 4:

"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'"

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
