Hilario Chapa Jr.

Hilario S. "Larry" Chapa Jr., 61, of Beeville, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016. Mr. Chapa was born Nov. 20, 1954, in Beeville to Mercedes (Salinas) and Hilario M. Chapa Sr. He married Marlene A. Harris in Beeville in 1994 and was a carpenter by profession. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his wife; and a brother, Bobby Joe Chapa. Survivors include his parents, Mercedes and Hilario Chapa Sr. of Beeville; a stepson, Grant (Patricia) Harris of Beeville; a sister, Janie C. (Dennis) Vasquez of Beeville; a brother, Lee Roy (Dionne) Chapa of Victoria; four grandsons, Dominic, Matthew, Jadyn and Xzyden Harris; one niece, five nephews and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at Angelus Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted there following visitation with Rev. Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Chapa, Alfred Chapa, Ringo DeLeon, Brian C. Martinez, Tomas Suniga and Richard Chapa. Angelus Funeral Home
