George G. Hernandez

George G. Hernandez, 39, of Berclair, Texas sadly passed away Friday, July 14, 2023.

George was born on December 28, 1983, in Beeville to Julian Hernandez Sr. and Josefa Gutierrez. He was a caring son, a loving father, and was always ready to help a friend in need. George enjoyed the outdoors, spending his time fishing, hunting, and going on hikes. He worked as a mechanic in the oil field industry. George stood strong in his catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Julian Hernandez Jr.; and grandmother, Ramona Flores.

Survivors include his mother, Josefa Hernandez; two children, Milliana Hernandez and Julia Hernandez; two aunts; six nieces; one nephew; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, with a Rosary to be recited at 10 o'clock at Angelus Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 21, at Angelus Funeral Home with Father Pete Elizardo officiating.

Burial will follow in the Berclair Cemetery in Berclair, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Josefa Hernandez, Waylon Salazar, Roland Maldonado, John David Flores, Cruz Hernandez Martinez, Joe Martinez, Pablo Enrique Uribe and Tony Moreno.

Honorary pallbearers will be Molly Guevara and Marcelino Hernandez.
