Flumencio Rodriguez

Flumencio Rodriguez, 83, of Beeville, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017.

Mr. Rodriguez was born Oct. 27, 1934, in Pawnee to Josefa Garcia and Encarnacion Rodriguez. He married Onesima Botello on Aug. 15, 1954, and was a ranch hand with Texas Agriculture Experiment Station for 32 years. He was a Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Manuel Rodriguez and Isaias Rodriguez; and one sister, Olivia De Los Santos.








Survivors include three daughters, Viola (Able) Perez, Maria Alicia Holmes and Elva Rodriguez, all of Beeville; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 o'clock.

The funeral service was conducted there at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, with Rev. Frances Perez officiating.





Pallbearers were Arturo Garza, Jacob Garza, Nieves Botello Jr., Daniel Villarreal, Michael Sauceda, Michael Rosas and Trey Garza.
