Diana (Ramirez) Quiroz, 57, of Beeville died Sunday, April 26, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born a twin to Amador and Trinidad (Gomez) Ramirez in their home in the Olmos community near Skidmore on June 17, 1957. Mrs. Quiroz was a 1976 graduate of Skidmore-Tynan High School and attended Bee County College. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Beeville and was employed as a home health provider for numerous years. She married Ricardo Quiroz on July 17, 1982, in Skidmore. She enjoyed plants, gardening, cooking, baking, dancing and was a caregiver to many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews, godchildren and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her father, Amador Ramirez Sr., on Feb. 19, 1981. Survivors include her mother, Trinidad Gomez Ramirez of the Olmos community, who currently resides at Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home in Beeville; her husband of 32 years, Ricardo Quiroz Sr. of Beeville; two sons, Ricardo Quiroz Jr. and Ramiro Quiroz, both of Beeville; one daughter, Ana Alicia Quiroz of Beeville; seven sisters, Juanita (Adolfo) Chapa of Fort Worth, Esther (Frank) Cuevas of Beeville, Margaret (Manuel) Olivo of San Antonio, Maria Elena "Mary" Castillo (Ernest Longoria) of Beeville, Bertha (Domingo) Martinez and twin sister, Delia (Ernest) Soto, both of the Olmos community and Marie Isabel "Lisa" (Jesse) Monsivais of Fort Worth; two brothers, Felipe Ramirez (Rosie Rodriguez) of Beeville and Amador (Frankie) Ramirez of Papalote; and numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren, relatives and friends. Viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Angelus Funeral Home and continue at 5:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the church with Father Luke Thirunelliparambil officiating. Special musical selections will be sung by her son, Ramiro Quiroz and Mariachi Luna Y Sol. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Frank "Sonny" Cuevas, Domingo Martinez III, Robert "Robby" Ramirez, Frank "Frankie" Castillo Jr., Tony Longoria and Steven Longoria. Honorary pallbearers will be Mariachi Luna Y Sol band members Ramiro Quiroz, Jacob Puga, Kelly Canales, Guaddy Lopez, Juan Casas, Warren Anderson, Rene Trigo, Ryan Brise�o and Josh Saldivar.
