Cataleya Herminia Quintero

Cataleya Herminia Quintero left this world into the loving arms of Jesus on the same day she came into it. She was born at Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, Texas, on March 8, 2024, to Saul Quintero and Mireya Enriqueta (Reyes) Quintero. 

Even though her death brought with it much sadness and even though her time here was brief, Cataleya will always be deeply cherished.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Guadalupe Abrigo; and two great-uncles, Daniel Abrigo and Sammy Lee Abrigo.

Cataleya leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts including her loving parents, Saul and Mireya Quintero of Beeville; siblings, Layla Quintero Santana of Arizona and Saul Quintero Jr. of Beeville; her maternal grandmother (Lala) and namesake, Herminia Reyes of Tuleta; her maternal grandfather, Carlos (Estella) Reyes of Pettus; maternal great-grandparents, Ricardo (Brigida) Abrigo Duque of Beeville; aunts, Mariana, Malena and Mallory Reyes of Tuleta; uncle, Carlos Reyes Jr. of Tuleta; paternal grandparents, Manuel Quintero Vasquez and Agustina Palma Aguilar; paternal uncles, Emmanuel (Zaira) Quintero Palma and Armando (Marina) DeLeon; great aunts and uncles, Yolanda Abrigo, Mary (Jesse) Gomez, Cynthia (Roland) Jaure, Angela (Santos) Villarreal and Felix Abrigo, all of Beeville; and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Abrigo Family Cemetery in Normanna with Father Pete Elizardo officiating.
