Belinda Garcia, 63, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2026.

Belinda was born on January 3, 1963, in Mathis, Texas, to Rosando Garcia and Maria Virginia Liserio. Belinda lived a life devoted to serving and caring for others. She had a deep love for the outdoors and great knowledge of flowers, always knowing their names and how to care for them. A free spirit at heart, she found joy in her many artistic talents, such as cooking for those she loved, and in nature while working in landscaping. Above all, Belinda cherished her family and cared for them with unwavering love and devotion.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Frank Vega.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Vega; her brothers, Ramon and Sammy Cardoza; her sister, Belia Martinez; her son, Orion Martinez; her daughter, Adrienne Garcia; and her grandchildren, Alice Palmore and Abby Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville, Texas, with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the same location with Carl Pickett officiating.

Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Orion Martinez, Ramon Cardoza, Emilio Martinez, Jay Perez and Adrienne Garcia.
