Beatrice B. Gonzales, 76, of Beeville, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026.
Beatrice was born on August 22, 1949, in Beeville, Texas, to Reynaldo and Elvira Barrera. She lived a life rich with love and devotion to her family and was a devout Catholic.
Beatrice loved music and enjoyed playing bingo. Her favorite holiday was Easter, and she especially loved the beauty of spring flowers. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her “Momo,” and she cherished every moment spent with her children and family, who were the greatest joy of her life. She also found great happiness in cooking and preparing meals for her loved ones whenever they gathered together, creating many special memories around the table that her family will cherish forever.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo and Elvira Barrera.
She is survived by her loving family, including her children: Carlos Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales, Rose Mary Gonzales, Jimmy Gonzales, Ellie Mae Ortiz, and Ramon Gonzales. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, whom she adored: Brianna Gonzales, Alyssa Ramirez, Samantha Ortiz, Xavier Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Carley Ortiz, Emily Gonzales, Denise Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Angel Gonzales, Peyton Gonzales, John John Gonzales, Airyanna Gonzales, Paislee Gonzales, Leo Gonzales, and Payton Flores.
She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Amity Sanchez, Blair Sanchez, Xander Sanchez, Elora Arzola, and Elias Arzola.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Beatrice is survived by her beloved siblings: Luisa Gomez, Maria Lena Perez, Joe Rocha, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Maria Barrera, Chris Barrera, Israel Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, and Estola Vasquez.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Angelus Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service with Deacon Santos Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers will be Carlos Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales, Jimmy Gonzales, Ramon Gonzales, John John Gonzales, and Peyton Gonzales.
