Aurelio Garza, Jr.

Aurelio "Ray" Garza Jr., 70, of Beeville, Texas, died Monday, January 21, 2019.
Mr. Garza was born January 11, 1949, to Aurelio and Rosa (Villarreal) Garza in Beeville. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Catholic faith, was in the construction business and retired as a welder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelio and Rosa Garza.
He is survived by his companion, Maria Teran of Beeville;
one daughter, Lisa (Chris) Barrera of Beeville; two sisters, Lillie (Trino) Martinez and Irene Arrisola, both of Beeville; a brother, Ruben (Lupita) Garza of Beeville; and one grandson, Christopher Ray Barrera.
Visitation will be held at Angelus Funeral Home chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 24. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Angelus Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Barrera Jr., Chris Barrera, Albert Teran, Daniel Garza, Lawrence Garcia and Ernest Rincon.
