Annie Sue Riley

Annie Sue Riley, 82, wife of the late Patrick Riley Sr passed away peacefully at Birchwood Nursing with her sister Shirley by her side.

Born March 20, 1941, in Dallas to Clyde and Lena (Kosarek) Jones.

Sue attended Cotulla High School and graduated in 1957. She met and married Patrick Riley Sr. on August 4, 1957, where they then moved to Refugio, then to Beeville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beeville. Sue also loved listening to the music of George Strait.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat; daughter, Carol; and three brothers, Charles, Thomas and Clyde JR.

Survivors include her son, Pat (Carla) Riley Jr. of Michigan; three sisters, Anna Loftice of Texarkana, AR, Patricia Larson of San Angelo, Texas and Shirley Hester of San Antonio, Texas; a son-in-law, Randy Cain of Beeville; 7 grandchildren, Sarah, Jeremy, Shaun, Hannah, Aaron, Andrew and Jonathon; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at the First Baptist Church, Senior Citizen Center in Beeville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the First Baptist Church in honor of Sue would be wonderful.
