Angelica “Angie” R. Garza, 68, passed away on July 15, 2026 in Beeville, Texas. She was born on the Tom Heard Ranch in Beeville, Texas on August 10, 1957, along with her twin sister Susana G. Morón to Teresa Ramirez and Eusebio Garza.
Angie graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1976. She attended Bee County College where she earned various certificates, including Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Angie worked at the college’s print shop as a printing associate. She also worked at the refinery in Three Rivers as an operator and lab personnel. She was an entrepreneur, as she owned and operated The Zodiac Night Club in Corpus Christi, Texas.
In 2005, Angie and Susana committed to St. James Catholic Church and became Eucharistic Ministers together. Angie was a resolute Catholic and did extensive research on the saints and religious studies.
Angie spent most of her childhood with her grandparents; Mateo and Maria Ramirez. She is survived by her siblings; Mary Jane (Marc) Lowrey, Susana (the late Fred) Morón, Teresa (Ruben) Moreno, Alfonso (Ramona) Garza, Janie (Pablo) Garcia, Joe (Belinda) Garza, and Eusebio (Jeanette) Garza Jr.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Mateo and Maria Ramirez, her parents; Eusebio C. Garza and Teresa R. Hernandez, and brother-in-law; Frederico C. Morón.
Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church in Beeville, Texas, with a rosary recited at 11am and a Mass to follow at 11:30 am.
Pallbearers include Angie Deleon, Rita Guzman, Rachel Medina, Becky Sivers, Sandy Vasquez Sivers, and Cassi Zambrano.
Honorary Pallbearers include Federico E. Morón, John Mateo Lowrey, Adrian Moreno, Pablo Garcia Jr., Gabriel Moreno, and Aaron Garcia.
