Alicia (Arambulo) Chapa, 84, of Beeville, died Thursday, June 16, 2011. Mrs. Chapa was born June 21, 1926, in Bee County to Damiana Garcia and Genaro Arambulo. She married Refugio T. Chapa and was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Damiana Arambulo; her husband, Refugio T. Chapa; and two sons, Ezekiel Chapa and Refugio Chapa Jr. Survivors include five daughters, Mary (Juan) Villa of Beeville, Esther Garcia of San Antonio, Felicita (Antonio) Gutierrez of Beeville, Lucia (Jose A.) Cisneros of Beeville and Yolanda (Jose Luis) Cortez of Beaumont; one son, Raymond Chapa Sr. of Beeville; 36 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial followed in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers were Jr Vasquez, Jorge Vasquez, Reggie Chapa, Jose Cisneros Jr., John Villa, Genaro Garcia, Henry Chapa, Antonio Gutierrez Jr., Angel Gutierrez and Ezekiel Chapa Jr. Angelus Funeral Home
