Adela Hurtado

Adela (Moreno) Hurtado, 52, of Beeville, died Friday, July 19, 2013. Mrs. Hurtado was born Dec. 10, 1960, in Beeville to Matilde and Erlinda (Banda) Moreno. She married Jose Ramon Hurtado in Beeville on Dec. 5, 1982, and was a home healthcare provider for 15 years. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matilde and Erlinda Moreno; her husband, Jose Ramon Hurtado; a daughter, Mary Hurtado and a brother, Reynoldo Moreno. Survivors include her children, Leeann (Neri Balderas) Hurtado, Lorina (Aldo Garcia) Hurtado, Vanessa (Marisol Herrera) Hurtado, Arturo (Lidia Luna) Hurtado and Ramon (Pat) Hurtado Jr., all of Beeville, and Luzelena (Ruben) Portillo of Goliad; brothers and sisters, Alfredo (Beatrice) Benavidez, Johnny Benavidez, Luis Moreno, Tony (Victoria) Moreno, Matilde (Elma) Moreno, Manuel (Samantha) Moreno, Bene (Martina) Moreno, Dora (Juan) Moreno, Mary Moreno and Dora Kay Moreno; and 15 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 22, at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held there at 7 o'clock that evening. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Monte Del Olivar Christian Church with Pastor Isaac De Los Santos officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Alfredo Benavidez, Tony Moreno, Luis Moreno Jr., Manuel Moreno, Matilde Moreno, Bene Moreno and Johnny Benavidez. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabbie Balderas, Daniella Cantu, Adriana Balderas, Alexis Garcia, Leeanna Mia Balderas, Layla Balderas, Dana Portillo and Jessica Portillo. Angelus Funeral Home
