Abel Narvaez

Abel C. Narvaez, 72, of Missouri City, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018.
Mr. Narvaez was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Sinton to Fidela (Castillo) and Jacinto Narvaez Sr. He married Yolanda Trevino in Houston on July 20, 1968. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 38 years and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda (Trevino) Narvaez; his parents; and a daughter, Susan Narvaez.
He is survived by his daughter, Season "Wendy" Narvaez; grandson, Robert Jacob Munoz; sister, Oneida Valdez; brothers, Arnold (Linda) Narvaez and Jacinto (Eufemia) Narvaez Jr.; nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 o'clock.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
Pallbearers will be Roy Delariva, Arnold Narvaez, Jacinto Narvaez, Nick Garcia, Jay Ponce, Lee Ramirez.
